When a fierce storm knocks down a giant tree on the family farm, Abe and his loyal dog Cooper turn cleanup into a firewood project. But when their neatly stacked bundles start disappearing, the real mystery begins! With muddy hoofprints, strange noises, and one alert Australian Shepherd on the case, Abe follows the clues deep into the woods to discover what—or who—is disturbing their hard work. Cooper and the Firewood Fix-Up blends farm life, outdoor adventure, and problem-solving as Abe learns about tool safety, tree types, and the importance of teamwork. Perfect for ages 6–10, this second-grade chapter book includes picture log sketches, educational facts, and a heartfelt postcard at the end.
