This book is about my decision to install a water softener to improve the water quality in my home. My installation was complex, requiring extensive rerouting of my plumbing. I provide detailed photos and instructions. I have never done this work before and the project turned out quite well. This is not intended as a complete do-it-yourself guide, but rather detailed instructions on how one individual overcame problems for a successful installation.
