When we met Jono D he was just recovering from the flu. We were meant to do an outdoor shoot in Reykjavík city centre, but not wanting to make the guy ill again, we decided to crank up the radiators and shoot him at home. While I do wish we had another lovely city centre shoot for the collection, I was really happy with what we ended up with at the spur of the moment, so much so that I wanted to share the outtakes with you here.
In this Elska Ekstra e-zine, we see all the images of Jono D not published in the main magazine issue. Plus you also get some extra stories, including another by the man himself, a very intimate and heartfelt text about his final days in Australia before moving to Iceland. And by the way, if you ever get to visit iceland, make the effort to meet Jono, aka Jonathan Duffy, a prominent comedian on the Reykjavík comedy circuit.
