Heaven Remiss

The following is a collection of poems and thoughts created by Lindy Teachout-Mailen, a poet and song writer from the sandy beaches of North Carolina (descended from pirates no less), and who migrated to the Midwest well over a decade ago. These are only a small sample of her portfolio, most from recent years and they only give a tiny look at the complex beauty of her poetic soul. Some of them are hopeful, others are sad and there's more than one that brings tears to my eyes.
