Busy: A Martha Story

This short 3 minute skit is a modern-day interpretation of the account of Mary and Martha chronicled in Luke 10:38-42. There is much written and said about this account with the general message that we should be more like Mary, but I think there’s more to it. Mary was a worshipper. I don’t see anything to indicate that Martha did not also love Jesus, but it seems to me that Martha was a planner, an organizer, a perfectionist. Without Martha nothing would get done. However, even Martha needs to come out of the kitchen.
