A Deadly Chess Game!

On June 16, 2010 Detective Cheerie (large male cream colored cat) and I (Bentley Brighton) were at a book signing at Dulwich Books in the heart of London. The novels I write are about Detective Cheerie being the most unusual official at Scotland Yard. He investigates murders, some in other countries. The last customer of day was a very well dressed elderly gentleman. He introduced himself as Lord Eversham. After talking a few minutes and petting Detective Cheerie he invited us to (Buckthorn Manor) his estate in the country. We would be weekend guests.
