Once Upon an Image

Marama and Maek have been working together on this project for several years. In 2005 they collaborated and exhibited work for the Tasmanian Poetry festival.. Inside an Image was the entree` to this book, Once Upon An Image. Their work is a synergy of history, emotions and memory; they create a space where distance and separateness is experienced in the thinking voice and dreaming eyes. Maek's work can be dark, brooding and raw; but it makes for compelling reading. Marama is attracted to the ruggedness of the Tasmanian landscape and its people.
