Born and raised in Ithaca, NY, Snook,
as he was known, moved with his wife Peggy to Port Henry in the Adirondacks in 1958, where they enjoyed raising kids and critters on their hobby farm, Maple Meadows.
After retiring to Ironville, on Penfield Pond, he spent time fishing, volunteering
at the Heritage Museum, and entertaining visitors and grandchildren alike.
