Murff Murrey the Cop

Melvin Fred Murrey was born, raised in the small town of Roseville, California, with a loving family, went to school and played football in high school. As a student, he never used the name Melvin but would always sign his papers MF Murrey. He was given the nickname of Murff by his family and friends and the name stuck for the rest of his life. He finished Junior college and entered the Police Academy. He became a police officer. He married, raised two sons and a daughter and lived a happy normal life. This account is a slice of Murff Murrey’s life when he was sixty-four years old until his retirement at sixty-five.
