The curtain of Rwanda is rising and Miles Robinson,
son of a famous South African photographer, finds
himself in the opening act of an ignored twentieth century
holocaust. The college prank of a precocious son
is too much for Robinson’s mother who finds him a job
photographing a safari where he can escape his most
recent of petty crimes. Thrust into the lawless frontier
of Tanzania, a hive of arms smugglers and poachers,
Miles joins two Americans haunted by their own
demons. Miles Robinson must face down a criminal
conspiracy and safari that goes nightmarishly wrong.
Running away from his troubles and a bruised heart,
Miles Robinson must find the courage to survive and
save himself from the Devil’s back porch.
