In 2018 Matt Pointon set off on the Camino Francés, an ancient pilgrimage route which stretches for 800km from France, across Northern Spain, to the Shrine of St. James the Apostle in Santiago de Compostela. This book is an account of that journey. Of the physical and spiritual trials he encountered on the Way, and of the warmth and friendship of those who helped him to overcome them. More than merely a travelogue though, this book contains what he learnt about himself on the journey, and his fictional writings inspired by the walk.
