Gods and Candy - Summer Solstice

Hades has a weakness for ice cream. Hera adores Tootsie Pops. And Dionysus is rarely seen on the Overworld without his customary bottle of Jack Daniel’s and a Twinkie. And you can’t forget Aphrodite – she’s addicted to Hershey’s Kisses. All is well in their world until a mysterious goddess is imprisoned in a statue in Rome. A band of immortals must save the goddess before the Summer Solstice. But what happens when a marijuana smoking Demeter, Persephone (goddess of the Underworld), and some daft Sirens try to thwart the plan? It’s the Greek gods like you’ve never seen them – where they possess human emotions and weaknesses and are in our world. Zeus, Ares, Apollo, Hera, and Aphrodite (with the help of Dionysus and Morpheus) vow to release the goddess and watch over the Chosen One. But other forces want nothing more than to thwart them. As midnight quickly approaches, a battle begins in an ancient Roman Temple with powers and tempers flaring. Who will survive?
