Looking Up: The Language of Magic, Part 1
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Like two strangers on a train briefly holding each other's eyes, so is the transitory nature between clouds and the spectator. The scene will never repeat, and what was said in the silence may hold profound and lasting meaning. Shapes manifest through chaos, and our imagination fills in the rest. Our participation in the viewing is therefore intimately linked to the primal forces of the atmosphere.
Are clouds a mere product of rotation, gravity, heat and molecules, or are they something much more? Could they be the very dreams of creation? The primordial soup which, through some mysterious process, sculpts patterns for what we interpret as the “real” world? A painters brush canvassing thoughts and events?
The images within are products of forces that drew the author to capture what he saw and felt. They may hold no meaning to the reader, or possibly say something profound, though only privy to the reader's sensitivities.
216 images are contained within, with space provided for notations, so please see this book as a meditation or journal for your own on thoughts and musings as well.
