Embrace your aloneness

Embrace your aloneness

This book is a scarce creation. On one level it is an autobiography, but very much lacking the common self-indulgence found in almost all such other books: even with Part 3 of this four sectioned book reprinting the author's nonfiction, "I am", its page count reaches only 108. It is also a poetry collection, with context relevant poems interspersing the prose very often. A few connected pictures end the book. But everything in this book strengths a message, and in a much stronger fashion through this bonding and intertwining of forms. This is a very generous book of wisdom. It could be seen as a self-help book. By viewing the author's website (www.michaelholme.com) more thoughts, and leads to other authors and/or thinkers, enriches this body further. Michael believes in breaking our outer attachments and looking within. So do most others. This is a powerful book, worth reading in itself, but also with any parallel sources. The clarity of the nonfiction in Part 3, i.e., "I am", can be read alone, and indeed it can be bought separately, if you like. Ironically, the end of this book suggests we have excess choice in the modern day, but the choice is now yours!
