Gold Medal Comics - And More! (PB)
Midcentury Comics #61-PB: A True Literally-Everything Treasure Chest Of The Best of Golden Age Comics!
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Cambridge House Publishers was a true flash-in-the-pan comic creator, with only three one-shot titles in 1945. Still, they put out some good stories in that short time, and were able to attract such Golden Age talents as Bob Fujitani, Nina Albright, and Edmund Good. GOLD MEDAL COMICS was a 128-PAGE monster which cost a whopping 25¢ - definitely a premium price at the time! It was what comic historians call a “mixed bag” with mystery, superheroes, suspense/horror and humor side-by-side-by-side. Like the comic-buyers of the mid-40's, you'll love the variety of this very-colorful comic! To make it even better we've added the complete HURRICANE COMICS, a 52-page story from the Bernard Bailey Studio, and a handful of heroes and horror stories from the only other Cambridge title, STAR STUDDED COMICS. Overall it's more than 200 high-action, and unlimited excitement pages!
