Throughout his life, Harold Higgins had been plagued with terrible, tragic luck, all centered around the number 13. On his 13th birthday his “best girl” died; his brother died on Fabruary 13th, and tragedy after tragedy befell him on the 13th and whenever he encountered the number. He decided one day to embrace the number instead of fighting it, and from that day he possessed almost superhuman luck – which he used to fight crime with his sidekick JINX! His stories from Daredevil Comics have never been collected together before – that is, before Gwandanaland!
