DEATH OF A SHIP

The four month voyage of an Ocean-going Merchant Ship trading between southern North Sea Ports and the East coast of South America in 1959, ending in disaster when she sinks in eight minutes with heavy loss of life. On the lighter side it recounts runs ashore, some funny, some sad, and some involving sexual encounters. It also records the developing romance between the Second Officer and a Nurse living in the English Community in Buenos Aires.
