Wheels of Destiny

Wheels of Destiny, a novel which spans the years 1826- 1889, is set in County Donegal, on the northwest coast of Ireland and in New York, U.S.A. It is a family saga set against the Irish Famine as one family struggle for survival against the landlord, against hunger and oppression. Fleeing from injustice, Conor O'Doherty makes his way to New York. But as time passes, he realises he must return to Ireland to redress the wrongs that were visited upon his family. This is a story of love and hate, of struggle against the odds, of survival and the sweetest revenge.
