Paul and Monica & Other Favorite Patients

I have written a number of books about my youth because there is much to tell. One former girlfriend described me as a “sex maniac” because I always wanted to have sex with her. Well, she was cute and what else are girlfriends for when you are dealing with raging teen hormones? Others said I was “inappropriate”. I guess they were all correct; but I wasn't alone. There were other kids in my area and my school who habitually played “clothes off” games with friends. These activities set the standard for our lives. Those behaviors were caused by early sexual urges that were too strong to ignore. Most of us also had early puberty. Why? I have no idea except to say that these things have been increasing in kids since the 1950s. My obsession with playing “clothes off” games also came from a visit to my doctor's office when I was five. With a need for kids in grades K-6 to get a health check before starting school, his office was packed. He saw five boys at a time and we all had to get naked in front of each other. Nothing was the same for me after that. Suffice it to say that I became the neighborhood pediatrician by the time I was nine.
