All members of United robots are 100%, individualized, self-aware robots (each with human level AI), a post-species of humans who are built with superhuman abilities through computer technology and artificial intelligence. Under the banner of America, the United Robots organization fight for peace and equality between normal humans and robots in a world where anti-robot bigotry is fierce and widespread. They are led by Colonel Van Gunzalez, also known as Colonel Gun, a powerful robot soldier who can strategize and lead an army. Their archenemy are Evil Robots, powerful robots with the ability to manipulate and control atoms and electronic/magnetic fields and are called the Brotherhood of Evil Artificial Intelligence (Evil AI is one among many terror groups). Both have opposing views and philosophies regarding the relationship between robots and humans. While the former works towards peace and understanding between robots and humans, the latter views humans as a threat and believes in taking an aggressive approach against them, though some members of Evil A.I. have found themselves working alongside United Robots from time to time. Vincent k Mitchell is the founder of United Robots at a location commonly called Nightcap, which recruits robots from around the world. Located in the cascade mountains of Colorado, Nightcap is the home and training site of United Robots. The founding 5 members of the team who appear in the first 3 issues are Colonel Gun, Red Ant, Sniper-woman, Berzerker AI, and Big Oh. Since then, hundreds of robots from various countries and diverse backgrounds, and even a number of celestial robots, have held membership as United Robots. Issue plot: Kenosha Island north of New York city is the first robot prison facility to incarcerate and lock away dangerous robots.
