A Test of Luck

Nick, Charli and Liam are complete opposites: meaning, when they somehow end up in the same history group and are expected to write a report up on a country of their choosing they are basically doomed. The trio is unexpected to say the least, a dedicated athlete committed to persuing a future that he's not sure he even likes, a mean girl who may have some secrets hidden behind her smirks, and a quiet kid who wants to get the project done with little to no fights. The trio's project seems impossible, but after one group member mysteriously goes missing, and leaves behind only a journal he purchased from the local thrift store deemed "spooky," the remaining pair has no choice but to investigate. Will the trio reunite? Most of all, can three opposites learn more about each other, or even about themselves from the magic that may lie beyond a simple group project?
