This calendar is representative of Nimbus, the resident feline of the Mount Washington Observatory. At 6,288 feet above sea level, Mount Washington is the tallest peak in the Northeastern United States and is infamous as the “Home of the World’s Worst Weather.” Since 1932 the nonprofit Mount Washington Observatory has operated a weather station on the peak’s barren summit, observing and recording some of the most remarkable weather in the world. The member-supported institution invites the public to join in the adventure through the purchase of this calendar, signing up for overnight trips, workshops, weather station tours, and more.
