Lanang the young male orang utang fights back against the poachers! A young courageous male orang utang named Lanang who - inspired by the 1960s Japanese crime fighter television series Phantom Agents - organises a small band of ‘orangutangnistas’ to defeat Mara the big time poacher who kidnaps baby orang utangs. LANANG is a heroic ‘against-all-the-impossible-odds’ fable of a commando style rescue mission to save hundreds of orang utang orphans caged in Mara Ranch - the well fortified ‘dark heart’ of Mara’s poaching empire. “Okay.” whispered Lanang. “You all know what you have to do. We have spent months training for something like this and no matter what happens I promise all of you that this evening will go down in our history as a night of honour.
