Walking On Water

It’s a dangerous detour and one that leaves people on a pilgrimage back to this land of their birth prematurely. Only then do we recognise the true meaning of motion. The motion that carries us beyond the gates of excess and into the mansion we erect in our minds which we dare to describe as madness. But wisdom and folly are rarely considered. It wasn’t to be the actual state of affairs that constructed the journey Mannie and I took. It was rather the images that had created the messages and divine plans in our minds, stimulated by a life of meaningless banter. So it seemed. Allowing two people to border a world that now requires execution. The actual act of deliverance however, had not been defined. Only the outcomes of all preparations leading to this Mecca had been considered.
