Nick Day is an independent author with a passion for horror, dark fiction, poetry, and stories that explore the darker corners of the human experience. Inspired by literary greats such as Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe, Ernest Hemingway, John Steinbeck, and Robert Frost, Nick strives to create stories that capture the imagination, evoke emotion, and leave a lasting impression on readers.
His writing spans multiple genres, including teen horror, dark young adult fiction, historical fiction, and poetry. His published works include Witches in the Crypt, a teen horror novel, and A Walk with the Devil, a work of Vietnam War fiction.
A blue-collar worker by day and a storyteller by passion, Nick finds inspiration in everyday life, the people he encounters, and the unexpected beauty of ordinary moments. Whether exploring the shadows of a fictional town, reflecting on the realities of war, or putting thoughts and emotions into poetry, he believes every story has the power to connect with someone.
When he isn’t writing, Nick enjoys riding his Harley-Davidson, spending time on the open road, and dreaming up new stories. He continues to pursue his goal of building a lasting career as an author, one book at a time.
For Nick, writing is more than a hobby. It’s a lifelong journey of imagination, discovery, and sharing stories with the world.
