Waiting for the Called Journal: Youth Edition is a faith-based guided journal designed to help teens explore identity, purpose, emotional wellness, relationships, faith, and the challenges of growing into who God has called them to be. Through thought-provoking questions, practical exercises, Scripture-based reflection, wisdom nuggets, and personal challenges, teens are encouraged to slow down, examine what they believe, process their experiences, and develop greater confidence, self-awareness, resilience, and spiritual maturity. The journal addresses real-life topics young people face, including emotions, peer pressure, family relationships, decision-making, forgiveness, boundaries, obedience, grief, accountability, prayer, and discovering purpose. Rather than simply telling teens what to think, it creates space for them to reflect, ask meaningful questions, recognize unhealthy patterns, and apply biblical truth to everyday life. Created as a companion to the Waiting for the Called novel, the journal can be used independently or alongside the story to deepen personal reflection and application. It is also well suited for youth groups, Christian schools, mentoring, coaching, families, and individual study. A companion youth curriculum and facilitator resources are also available for group-based learning and discussion.
