Existence Remains

This body of work centers around my interest in the presence of human existence remaining in an empty space. Through photography, I am seeking to capture a sense of the space within it’s residual artifacts. I use appliances, wallpaper and furniture as well as other physicalities of the space as metaphors for the people who have lived there. It is my goal to capture the history of a building and its inhabitants by photographing the space long after its residents have left.
