Disabilities in Africa- Reactions!

This book deals on the causes of disability of disabled persons using the traditional African and scientific beliefs as a basis. Reactions of victims of disabilities to the conditions, as well as family members, and social and educational implications/ educational remediation. The book consists of five chapters as listed below: chapter one focuses on causes of disability (African and scientific beliefs).Chapter two dwells on case studies of victims of disability. Chapter three looks at reactions of victims of disabilities to their disabilities. Chapter four is concerned with reactions of members of family of victims of disability to having a disabled in the family. Chapter five dwells on the educational and social implications of the neglect of the disabled and the educational remediation of disabled persons.
