My Three Pieces

These are three very different stories, in three very different places, with three very different main characters but one thing they all have in common is that they each have a unique happening that will change their lives forever. The first story is about a young runner trying to accomplish his goal of qualifying for the Boston Marathon. But along the way, you will witness all the obstacles he must overcome to reach his dream. Then the second story is based on an experience that I had when I was about eleven years old when my parents took us on a trip to California and we were hiking through Yosemite National Park. This memoir has an unexpected twist that will leave you shocked. Finally, the third and final story is told through the eyes of a young boy in England during the 1800s. He spends daily working in terrible conditions sweeping chimneys until an opportunity arises that will change his life forever.
