Dr. Ozias Marcovici was born in 1948 in Romania and currently lives in Israel. He is a graduate of the University of Medicine in Iasi (Romania) and he specialized in internal medicine at Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot. He has dedicated much of his time to an old passion, history. From Paris to Tehran is a brief history of Iran, a country, in continual turmoil that has been reassessing its values for several decades. From the Forgotten King, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, an enlightened dictator, open to the Western word, to Ayatollah Khomeini, hermetically ensconced in tradition, the book spans Iran's recent history, at a time when tolerance and authentic values are needed the most. The author brings to the present incontrovertible historical evidence to draw attention on the future of mankind. The book was updated, in this second Edition, with an epilogue dealing with the international situation between Iran end the rest of the World, in the last four years.
