Pretty and Nowhere to Go

Veronica grew up with a strong sense of certainty. She has the family who shielded her from any evil that might harm her. Her strong foundation enabled her to be the bedrock other people depend on and that her home became the refuge people go to in times of their needs. She is the pillar of succor and rest. But events turn against her. The maladies invade her life and that now, she is the one who needs saving. But are these events truly ones that destroys life or ones that rebuilds it? "Pretty and Nowhere to Go" is an essay of life. It is a story that finds no escape for Veronica, for in this world it is not fighting those we cannot win, but accepting what life hands down.
