Embracing Your Shadows
A Journey of Self-Discovery
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate." — Carl Jung
You already know something is running beneath the surface. The patterns you can't explain. The reactions that feel too big for the moment. The version of yourself you perform for the world — and the one you hide from it.
Embracing the Shadows is a 30-week guided journal rooted in Jungian shadow work — the practice of exploring and integrating the hidden, suppressed, and denied aspects of yourself that silently drive your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
This is not a gratitude journal. There are no affirmations. There is no shortcut.
What's inside:
Each week targets a specific dimension of your shadow through guided journal prompts designed for handwriting:
Weeks 1–10: Surface the patterns — identifying emotional triggers in others, unresolved emotional weight, recurring dreams, shame and guilt, hidden aspects of self, relationship patterns, fears and phobias, negative self-talk, unacknowledged parts, and the gap between your real and ideal self.
Weeks 11–20: Go deeper — recurring life patterns, jealousy and envy, the masks you wear, projection onto others, compassionate reflection on your past, addictions and compulsions, healing betrayal, hidden desires, reclaiming authentic identity, and cultivating radical self-acceptance.
Weeks 21–30: Integrate and rebuild — healing lingering wounds, confronting fears about risk, learning from role models, breaking generational patterns, the need for acceptance, embracing change, reconnecting with your inner self, transforming negative self-beliefs, integrating your shadow and personal identity, and realigning with your deeper purpose.
Also includes:
• Foreword by Alison Robertson, author of "Enoughness: The Simple Truth to Embracing You" (Forbes Top 7 self-help books)
• Introduction to shadow work — what it is, why it matters, and how to approach it safely
• Guidance on complementary practices: meditation, inner child work, dream analysis, body-based practices, and creative expression
• A halfway reflection page with self-assessment prompts to take stock before continuing
• Dedicated notes pages for ongoing reflection
Designed for handwriting. Research shows that writing by hand engages deeper cognitive processing than typing. This journal is meant to be printed, bound, and kept private — a space free of judgment, expectations, and masks.
