Our consciousness in this material world is polluted by many impressions of temporary material objects. But when the divine sound of the Vedic mantras and Vedic philosophy enters our ears, it purifies the heart, making it crystal clear like a pure lake in the autumn season. Then a lotus flower will bloom in the lake of the heart and the sweet fragrance of that lotus will attract a bumblebee. The fragrance of love spreads out and attracts Krishna, the Supreme Lord Himself - the Most Precious Jewel - to come and take His seat upon our hearts. This is the inconceivable potency of bhakti-yoga.
