GRATITUDE IN POVERTY
Learning as a Way of Life

This book is not born from abundance, but from limitations that are lived with patience.
It was not written to patronize, nor to show off success, but as a living testimony—that even from poverty can grow strength, as long as gratitude and the spirit of learning never die out.
I was born the son of a poor farmer. Socially isolated, living on the margins, and often feeling small in the world. But my parents had one never-ending wealth: the hope that their children would stay in school and not repeat their fate. The phrase I heard most often since childhood was "A diligent school. Don't live like us." From there this whole journey begins.
