Cryofuels

CRYOFUELS : Overview - It is a very brief book in which the author describes, Cryofuels such as LPG, Natural Gas, LNG, Hydrogen and LH2 are expected to be used as Alternate Fuels. These fuels show improved combustion characteristics and applications, compared to other existing Fossil Fuels. These fuels are sold either at Compressed Gas or Liquefied Gas (i.e. temperature usually below -150°C or anything < 0°C) and hence are called as Cryogenic Fuels. In this book, Cryofuels - Sources, Properties, Production, Storage, Handling and Safety are discussed as subject matter for Cryogenic, Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Metallurgical, Chemical, Petrochemical, Marine and Agricultural Engineering subjects and for Chemical Sciences. All chapters have been developed with utmost care for the easy understanding. It is found that this book provides good amount of information on alternate fuels.
