RESEARCH CONTEMPLATION: A MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACH

Business school teachers are the lighthouse (or watchtower) of any higher educational institutions. Teacher acts, attitude, vision and directing positive styles not only make the students performing better but also shape the future of the students. Training and learning is crucial and continuous requirement for business school teachers. It is needed for skilfulness extension of current technological know – how. With the dynamic change in the global situation it is mandatory to deviated from the fixative or instructive methods of imparting trading to new innovation methods fir meeting up or bringing together the new challenges in the field of higher education. It is therefore imperative for training modules framework of the Capacity building and development programmes of the business school teachers. Business school teachers must be sound in inter-personal behaviour to encourage the teacher – student philosophy in an educational system. In addition to, conflict- management style must be taught to the teachers. Moreover, training and learning should be provided in positive leadership skills, institution building, practical decision-making making, skills of communication, listening skills , motivating skills , self-assessment, feedback, behavioural skills, , time management, problem solving skills, inter-personal relation skills, multi- media presentation skills, positive thinking, moral educational value system, etc. are the significant for the capacity building and development programmes for the business school teachers.
