Capitan's Tale

Capitan's Tale is a story book about a Golden Retriever who get's cancer. He meets another Golden Retriever who acts as his guide through the chemotherapy process. Together they talk about how they feel and about what they are going through. There is a lot of funny dialogue between the two dogs. The ending, of course, is a happy one. This story book for children aged 8 to 12 will encourage open discussion about cancer and will enable children to understand a little about cancer. This book is for any child undergoing cancer treatment themselves or a child who has a relative or pet who has cancer. Through the dialogue between the two dogs the power of postive attitude comes into play highlighting the need for the patient to remain positive throughout their treatment.
