Stumbling Upwards

Oftentimes, this life brings hardships that cause us to question, “Are you sure this is the plan, God?” Tragedies knock us to the ground and leave us wondering if God is ever going to show up in this mess. Through my personal experience of having a child shot in a school shooting, readers will see how God can take our hurts and even our rebellion to do things our way, and provide healing by surrendering to His grace. Methods for recognizing the importance in relying on God’s strength, learning to see things from God’s point of view, the part prayer plays in getting through difficulties, how to establish truths about God that we can depend on in good and bad times, and how to forgive those who may have hurt us are covered. Realizing God has allowed certain circumstances into our lives, not only to bring us more in line with His will, but to also bring us to a better understanding of those around us who may be hurting is also a focus of this book.
