God created man and created with him disease and medicine, and because medicine is one of the necessities of life, man has been searching for it since his cradle to treat his pains. Thus, the first person to practice medicine was our master Adam when he helped our lady Eve while she was giving birth to her first child. Man relied on his natural resources of plants and herbs to prepare and prepare medicine to ward off the dangers of diseases from his body and learned to use them by observing animals in treating their diseases, such as licking their wounds with their saliva as a disinfectant and anti-bleeding substance, and covering those wounds with plant leaves that are known to be anti-toxic. For example, the cat eats mint greedily when it feels full to expel gas from the stomach (it has recently been proven that mint contains a volatile oil that expels gases). It was also discovered that many of these plants can be used as medicines to treat some diseases. Willow bark was used as a painkiller (it has recently been shown that willow bark contains salicin, which is related to the salicylates from which aspirin is made, which is a painkiller). That is, man knew how to use medicine before he knew the causes of diseases, even though these medicines were mostly used to expel evil spirits and please the gods that man believed were the causes of disease. The medicines were bitter in taste or had a bad smell, or the patient was tortured to expel these spirits.
