Life In Perspective

Created in 2009, Redeeming Voices is a haven for the lyricists, artists and poets of Windsor High School. We gather weekly and are united through language. Through poetry, knowledge of the self flows. We experience how our words and thoughts can spill onto paper. Like a meditation, writing helps us stay balanced and true to our beliefs. It is a great quality to be an intellectual, a new and modern kind of transcendentalist. Both Redeeming Voices and the Nueva School of the Arts are composed of a diverse group of people, speaking without fear. We are Emersons and Thoreaus of today. We are teens with voices. We gather to speak lyrically. We cherish our integrity and will reclaim honor for our generation. We learn so much from each other. With a shared goal, we write to redeem the dignity of the youth in our community.
