In the fall of 1952 Ziff-Davis released various one issue comic book titles. DEARLY BELOVED #1 is a good example of these books. DEARLY BELOVED #1 is 36 pages of challenging relationships and marriages. The first story, “Meet Me Under the Clock” was drawn by Carmine Infantino. If you are looking for just one issue that encapsulates what made the romance comics of the 1950’s so intriguing then DEARLY BELOVED #1 is for you. Have you ever seen or heard about a particular comic, but were disappointed knowing that, since there was only one issue of the title, it would never be reprinted? Well, Retro Comic Reprints One Shot Wonders are here to help! The mission of RCR One Shot Wonders is to make individual public domain comic books, whose titles didn’t last long enough to be collected as series, accessible in print again. You are welcome to send me suggestions for public domain comics that only lasted a single issue. The best way to have your title added to the list is to email me at [email protected].
