Baby's Grave - A Cry In the Dark

This is book one of the "Island Mystery Series" of short fiction island thrillers. Based on Hawaiian Island Folklore! Although the exact details of this story have been changed, the subject matter is very real. These events took place over 30 years ago on the island of O’ahu, and they have been permanently engraved in my memories. While the psychological effects of these events have all but disappeared, they will never be forgotten. One of the most common practices, in the area of Hawaiian Black Magic, was to perform a ritual immediately after experiencing the death of a baby. It needed to be performed in a very specific location on the island, very close to Diamond Head Crater. There was no guarantee that the ritual would be effective, but the results of a failed ritual would last forever. This is the basis for the story “Babies Grave: A Cry in the Dark!” It all began as a simple dare that turned into one of the most memorable, and horrifying, nights of our entire lives. *A Short Story
