INDIAN SONG SUITE

INDIAN SONG SUITE composition for 8 percussionists. Looking for sounds of the American Indian world. Divided into three musical moments, it begins with a meditative atmosphere dedicated to the thunder god, in the central part there is a love song of a young Indian woman and as a final we find the war dance. 1° Approach of the thunder god 2° Inketunga's thunder song 3° Thunder god and the raimbow 4° Indian Idyl- War dance Medium level Grade 5 intruments: 1 - Vibraphone, Glockenspiel, neck bottle or flute pan, cymbal sizzle, rain stick, susp cymbal, chains. 2 - Xilophone, spring drum. 3- 4 - Marimba two player. 5 - Timpani, susp cymbal. 6 - Gong, rattles, bongos, Hit-Hat, small triangle. 7 - Bass drum, indian drum, two toms. 8 - Glass wind chimes, claves, flute bird, woodblock, snare drum and bass pedal.
