The Exit Row

This is not a book about becoming perfect. It’s about owning your humanity and doing your part to transform it. Don’t wait for someone else to lead you. You can lead yourself, but it will require focus, determination and a willingness to let God and others help you. Why title this book, “The Exit Row?” You see, the airlines don’t want people sitting in an exit row who are unwilling to sacrifice in order to help others get to safety, should the need arise. Being in the exit row means you are accepting the position to sacrifice and be responsible to help others. When you sit in the exit row, you immediately become a leader. What if life outside the exit row on a plane consistently operated the way some people handle their responsibility in an exit row? You get to choose today what you are going to do in the exit row of life. Only by applying what you learn will you get from where you are to where you want to be. So put your tray tables up, stow your carry-ons and buckle in to let the adventure begin.
