London Deep

Half book, half graphic-novel, London Deep is a sequence of five graphic novels with illustrations and comic strips on every page. The first London Deep was chosen as a Recommended Read for World Book Day in 2010. In book 1 London Deep – rule breaker Jem Mallard joins the Youth Police and hunts down the outlawed Father Thames organization. Things get complex when Jem discovers that Father Thames is led by a member of her family. In book 2 – Father Thames – London is under threat from a fleet of masked invaders. Their secret island holds a strange power source. Jem discovers that the Father Thames organization are involved. In book 3 – Threadneedle – Jemima gets caught up in an outbreak of the deadly Threadneedle disease. Those closest to her become infected. In book 4 – London Sink – reluctant YPD cop Jemima Mallard faces her toughest opponents yet – the feared Kirkless crew and their crazed leader Uncle Aeson. In book 5 - London Stars - Jemima and her dad put all the pieces of the puzzle together and unravel the mystery of the Climate Upgrade.
