When a drug dealer's wife high heels it into private eye Robert "Lucky" Fortune's Swansea office she starts him on a journey through the good, bad and very ugly sides of Dylan Thomas's and Catherine Zeta Jones's "ugly lovely" home city.
His holy grail?
A gold leek pendant which has been snatched from the "lady's" neck in a street robbery.
It wasn't just sentimental.
It contained a map to the drug dealer's buried drugs money stash. A cool one million Euros.
Set just before the smoking ban in Swansea's cloudy pubs and bars the quest sets Fortune on an unforgettable trawl through a fascinating city.
