About Rodney P. Johnson

I was born November 1955 and raised in New Orleans, La. I am the fourth child in a family of ten, five boys and five girls. Growing up in the 7th ward area of New Orleans I always had a strong love for the region and it's people and culture. I started writing right about the time I turned fifty. And I didn't get the ideal to publish any of my poems until hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in August of 2005. I lost everything I had. My home computer that had over 300 poems on the hard drive. My note books with a countless number of poems, some completed and some not. The only reason I have the poems published in Who am I? What could I Be? They were locked up in my work box on my job. I wrote just about all of the poems during my lunch break. Who am I? What could I Be? is my first book I hope you like it.
