Piney Mountain has secrets buried deeper than its roots. And they’re waking up. Winter, 1983. Seventeen-year-old Eli lives in a remote cabin with his grandfather high atop Piney Mountain, West Virginia. When a heavy fog begins creeping through the woods—and whispering his name—Eli discovers that an ancient evil bound beneath the mountain is stirring once more. Eli’s family has long been tied to its curse... and he may be the last one left who can stop it. Armed with only his grandfather’s warnings, a sacred dagger, and the truth about his parents’ mysterious disappearance, Eli must face what watches from the trees—and what dreams beneath them. Once it knows your name... it never forgets
