Ashara's Flowers

A flash fictional, autobiographical account of the death of a 10 year old Iraqi girl. Readers may detect a slight, political slant, but my goal was to focus, not on the politics behind the Iraq conflict, but on the personal tragedies usually associated with war. Ashara's sentiments expressed in the piece are meant to reflect the viewpoints of the influential Iraqi people in her life, and not my own.
