I had for many years been creating sculpture series as tributes to artists and architects, I decided to initiate a tribute series to Gropius through a number of different teapot designs. Initially I had planned on creating one hundred teapots (one for every year of the centennial), but over the period of 2018 to 2020, I settled on accomplishing a total of fifty teapot sculptures. The series is illustrated in this publication.
